Nutrire signs a contract for the purchase of clean energy
Did you know that Nutrire signed a contract to purchase renewable energy? Yes, that’s right! Given our concern for the environment and the future of the planet, we have been investing in energy from sustainable sources, in order to meet the demand of our company’s two headquarters by 2026.
By doing so, we will be able to avoid CO2 emissions equivalent to 3,988,004 tons into the environment, an amount which is enough to preserve almost 97 thousand tree seedlings and save 1.5 tons of paper that would be sent to landfills.
Renewable energy can be described as energy from clean sources, which do not harm the environment. This energy comes from sources encouraged by the Government, such as small and medium hydroelectric plants, wind and solar power systems, based on a clean and sustainable energy matrix. All this is part of the brand revitalization, which also prioritizes the preservation of the environment.
The purchase counted on the consultancy of the company Ludfor Energia Ltd., and the companies involved in the process are Copel and Cemig.
